Our Year 10 students are enthusiastically learning the practical skill of tile laying as part of their MCAST Unit, under the guidance of their experienced teacher, Mr. Mark Ciantar.
During their first lesson, students were introduced to the essential tools used in the trade. The second lesson focused on the theory behind planning a tiling project, including taking accurate measurements before purchasing tiles and learning how to lay tiles according to these measurements.
In the lessons that followed, students had the opportunity to put their knowledge into practice by cutting tiles using the appropriate tools and techniques.
