Project based Learning Year 7

During January and February, Year 7 students engaged in project-based learning. They learned about energy. Students worked in groups and used tablets to investigate what energy is, different types of energy, the carbon impact, and renewable energy. As part of their evaluation, each group gave a presentation on their final work. A variety of projects were completed, including solar ovens made from shoe boxes or pizza boxes, balloon-powered automobiles, and well-planned games to promote awareness about the usage of fossil fuels and the benefits of renewable energy.

During this project, students learned how to do research, collaborate in groups, share ideas, and solve problems.
