Exploring Physics at home

Students delved into the world of density as part of their physics course, exploring the connection between an object’s mass, volume, and density. They uncovered the secrets behind everyday phenomena, such as why tiny iron nails sink while massive iron ships gracefully float on water.

During their studies, students delved into the realm of liquid densities, conducting experiments with various common household liquids. They carefully selected five different liquids to examine, each with unique characteristics and density behaviour. Through these experiments, students gain insight into how such materials interact.

Among these engaged students, one particular student’s enthusiasm and dedication stand out. This student took their passion for the subject to the next level by creating a short movie clip. The movie clip beautifully showcased how the experiment was conducted, providing a visual and interactive learning experience.
