Nhar it-Tnejn 18 ta’ Mejju, l-iskola tagħna kellha l-pjaċir tilqa’ lill-Service Dogs Malta Foundation għal inizjattiva speċjali organizzata mill-Kunsill tal-Istudenti tagħna bl-isem Meet the Service Dogs!
Tul iż-żjara, l-istudenti pparteċipaw fi preżentazzjoni interessanti dwar kif jiġu mħarrġa l-klieb tas-servizz, lil min jgħinu u r-rwol importanti li għandhom biex itejbu l-ħajja ta’ ħafna persuni.
L-istudenti kellhom ukoll l-opportunità sabiħa li jiltaqgħu personalment ma’ xi klieb tas-servizz, fosthom Dolly, Alejandro, Toby, Gandalf, Prince u Kaydi. Il-preżenza kalma u ħelwa tagħhom ħolqot atmosfera unika matul il-jum.
Wara l-preżentazzjoni, il-Kunsill tal-Istudenti organizza photo session fejn l-istudenti setgħu jieħdu ritratt mal-klieb għal donazzjoni żgħira. Il-fondi kollha miġbura ngħataw lill-Service Dogs Malta Foundation biex ikomplu bil-ħidma sfiqa tagħhom.
Din l-inizjattiva kienet suċċess kbir, għenet biex tkompli xxerred aktar għarfien, tinkoraġġixxi l-parteċipazzjoni tal-istudenti u tappoġġja kawża tassew sinifikanti.
On Monday 18th May, our school had the pleasure of welcoming the Service Dogs Malta Foundation for a special Student Council initiative, Meet the Service Dogs!
During the visit, students attended an engaging presentation about how service dogs are trained, the important support they provide, and the positive difference they make in the lives of many individuals.
Students also had the wonderful opportunity to meet some of the service dogs in person, including Dolly, Alejandro, Toby, Gandalf, Prince, and Kaydi. Their calm and friendly presence created a warm and joyful atmosphere throughout the school.
Following the presentation, the Student Council organised a photo session where students could take a picture with the dogs in exchange for a small donation. All proceeds collected were donated to the Service Dogs Malta Foundation in support of their valuable work.
The initiative was a great success, helping to raise awareness, encourage student participation, and support a truly meaningful cause.
