On Friday and Saturday, a selection of U/13 girls had the exciting opportunity to play their first official netball matches against STRS School, England, and WATH School, England, respectively.
These matches marked an important milestone for the girls, as it was their first experience playing in an official game setting. They showed great enthusiasm, teamwork, and determination throughout, applying the skills they have been developing during training sessions. The games provided a valuable learning experience, helping them build confidence, understand the flow of a real match, and most importantly enjoy the experience of competitive netball. Their commitment to attending extra practice sessions and dedicating their free time to preparation was clearly reflected in their performance on court.
These matches were organised by Ms Maria Mallia and Mr Glen Mifsud, with the support of Ms Juleanne Vassallo.
