, l-istudenti tal-10 Sena tagħna żaru l-Millennium Chapel f’Paceville: oasi ta’ paċi u tama. Hawnhekk, l-istudenti ngħataw l-opportunità li jaqtgħu ftit mill-istorbju tal-ħajja u jsibu spazju kwiet biex jirriflettu u jitolbu.
L-istudenti saru jafu biż-żoni differenti tal-kappella, fosthom iż-żewġ ġonna ta’ meditazzjoni fuq il-bejt, is-sala interattiva, il-food bank, il-Love Kitchen u s-Siġra tal-Ħajja. Raw ukoll il-firxa wiesgħa ta’ appoġġ li toffri din l-kappella lil dawk li jħossuhom waħedhom, bla dar jew għaddejjin minn żmien diffiċli.
Wieħed mill-aktar mumenti profondi kien meta semgħu x-xhieda reali ta’ persuni li kienu fil-vizzju tad-droga, li qasmu l-esperjenzi diffiċli tagħhom u l-mumenti ta’ bidla li għenithom jibdew ħajja ġdida. Din kienet esperjenza li laqtet ħafna lill-istudenti tagħna.

Over the past Lenten weeks, our Year 10 students visited the Millennium Chapel in Paceville: a true oasis of peace and hope. Here, they were given the opportunity to step away from the noise of everyday life and find a quiet space to reflect and pray.
Students explored the different areas of the chapel, including the two meditation roof gardens, the interactive hall, the food bank, the Love Kitchen and the Tree of Life. Students discovered the wide range of support the chapel offers to those who may feel lonely, home-less or are going through difficult times.
One of the most powerful moments of the visit was listening to the real-life testimonies of former drug users, who shared their challenging journeys and the turning points that helped them rebuild their lives. This deeply moving experience left a lasting impact on our students.
A heartfelt thanks to the Millennium Chapel team for offering such a meaningful and unforgettable experience and to our Religion Department for organising all of this.
