Year 8 science students had the opportunity to carry out fieldwork at three natural reserves: Simar Nature Reserve, Għadira Nature Reserve, and Foresta 2000. During these visits, they explored and appreciated the diverse flora and fauna found in each reserve and learned about effec-tive conservation practices.
Fieldwork forms an important part of the science curriculum and assessment. Special thanks go to NGO BirdLife Malta, the managers of these sites, and the field teachers who guided the students throughout the experience.
Thanks to Ms Nadya Coleiro, science teacher, for sharing!
