Inspector Joseph Busuttil has been invited to speak about the legal and social implications of social media to all parents and Year 8 and 9 students at our school. These meetings will take place over the first three days of February. Yesterday’s sessions were both informative and educational. The main speaker divided the session into three parts: what the law says, why online bad practices should be avoided, and how the police department may help and support in such circumstances. Students and parents/guardians were given the opportunity to ask questions throughout the session. Similar sessions are scheduled for today and tomorrow.
