Jum mimli daqs bajda bil-kultura, tagħlim u avventura fil-Belt Valletta għal-istudenti tal-Etika tal-10 Sena. Il-grupp sħiħ wasal il-Belt Valletta fid-9:30 u beda l-ġurnata b’mixja fi Pjazza Kastilja, segwita minn żjara fil-Barrakka Ta’ Fuq fejn l-istudenti gawdew waqfa u setgħu jammirraw il-veduta mill-isbaħ tal-Port il-Kbir. Sfond perfett biex wieħed japprezza s-sbuħija ta’ Malta. Wara, il-grupp inġabar u mar lejn il-Kavallier ta’ San Ġakbu. Bejn l-10:45 u l-11:15, l-istudenti esploraw diversi esibizzjonijiet fiċ-Ċentru tal-Arti Kontemporanja, li bħalissa qed jiċċelebra l-anniversarju tiegħu. Fl-aħħar parti tal-ħarġa, l-istudenti raw i-film FLOW: film animat u li rebaħ diversi premjijiet u hu parti mill-Festival ŻiguŻajg. Il-film jindirizza temi qawwija bħal dik tal-kura għall-ambjent, il-multikulturalismu, l-adattament għall-bidla, mentalità flessibbli, fost oħrajn. Tabilħaqq storja li tmiss il-qalb. ![]()
Grazzi speċjali tmur għas-Sa Mandy Cassar Conti, għalliema tal-Etika, talli organizzat dan kollu għall-istudenti tas-Sena 10. Prosit lil kulħadd!![]()
A day of culture, learning & adventure in Valletta for our Year 10 Ethics students.
The group arrived in Valletta at 9:30 and kicked off with a walk across Castille Square, followed by a visit to the breathtaking Upper Barrakka Gardens. Here, students enjoyed their lunch break right at the Barrakka, taking in the stunning views of the Grand Harbour; just the perfect backdrop to appreciate Malta’s beauty. Then they gathered and made their way to St James Cavalier. From 10:45 to 11:15, our Year 10s explored a range of exhibitions at the Centre for Contemporary Art as this museum was celebrating its anniversary. Finally, the students watched FLOW, an award-winning animated film forming part of the ŻiguŻajg Festival. The film tackles powerful themes such as: care for the environment, multi-culturalism, adapting to change, amongst other. Indeed, a moving story to discover that unity in diversity makes any community stronger.![]()
A heartfelt thanks goes to Ms Mandy Cassar Conti, Ethics teacher, for organising this enriching experience for our Year 10 students. Well done!![]()
