Following our recent visit to the Maypole factory, where students observed the use of yeast in mass production, the Year 10 Home Economics option students had the opportunity last week to create their own dishes using yeast as a raising agent. The activity allowed them to apply what they had learned during the outing in a practical and creative way. Well done to all the students on their successful results! Wara ż-żjara reċenti tagħna fil-fabbrika tal-Maypole, fejn l-istudenti osservaw l-użu tal-ħmira fil-produzzjoni fuq skala kbira, l-istudenti tal-Home Economics tal-10 sena kellhom l-opportunità l-ġimgħa li għaddiet joħolqu platt tagħhom stess billi jużaw il-ħmira bħala aġent li jtella’ l-għaġina.
