L-istudenti tad-9 Sena tal- King’s Trust International Achieve Programme Malta żaru d-dar tal-anzjani taż-Żejtun għall-attività fejn ġenerazzjonijiet differenti ltaqgħu bħala parti mill-proġett Community Impact. L-anzjani ppreparaw tlett attivitajiet għall-istudenti fejn għallmuhom kif jinħadem is-suf bil-labar u bil-ganċ, kif jinħolqu disinji bil-lewlu u antaċċoli. L-istudenti kellhom ukoll l-opportunità li jżuru l-ġnien fejn tgħallmu kif isir it-tilqim bejn siġar tal-larinġ u dawk tal-bakkaljaw, kif ukoll tħawwil tat-tadam. Nirringrazzjaw lil CareMalta u lil KTI Achieve għal din l-opportunità biex l-istudenti u l-anzjani jqattgħu ħin flimkien, jitgħallmu affarijiet ġodda kif ukoll isiru jafu lil xulxin. Grazzi lis-Sa Rachel Ann Zammit tal-informazzjoni!![]()

The Yr 9 KTI students visited the Żejtun Home for the Elderly for an intergenerational activity in relation to the Community Impact Project. The elderly prepared three stations for the students where they taught them how to knit, crochet and create bead and sequin designs, and gardening, where students could observe orange tree budding, the sowing of tomatoes and had a tour of the beautiful garden in the home. We would like to thank CareMalta and KTI Achieve for this opportunity where both the students and the elderly had the possibility of spending some time together, learn new things and learn about each other. Thanks Ms Rachel Ann Zammit for sharing!![]()
