Attention Year 11 students: In order to register for your digital certificate, please follow the instructions below:
Downloading the Blockcerts Wallet App
- On your mobile device, go to the playstore and download/install the Blockcerts Wallet App
- Open the app and choose New User
- Create a Backup for the passphrase
- Your app should now show the word READY
Registering for the digital certificate
- Open your email
- If you cannot see the invite in the inbox (Subject starting: Reminder … ) it is probably in your SPAM folder.
- Go to the SPAM folder
- Find the email with the subject Reminder 10 Feb … Open the email and press Report NOT SPAM
- Go to your inbox and you should find the email there
- Open it, scroll down and press Add Issuer to Wallet
At the point one the below will happen:
You will be taken to the Wallet app automatically and you would see The Ministry of Education …. No Credentials (as shown below). THIS WILL MEAN THAT YOUR REGISTRATION IS COMPLETED
OR
You will get a page opened with a QR code at the top. In that case scroll down to the bottom of the email and you would find an Identification URL and One Time Code (as shown below). In this case:
- copy the identification URL
- Open the Blockcerts wallet app
- Tap Settings and choose Add Issuer
- Paste the Identification URL in the top box
- Go back to the email
- Copy the One Time Code
- Go to your Blockcerts wallet app
- Paste the One time code
- Tap Add Issuer
At this point you should see The Ministry of Education …. No Credentials (as in attachment). THIS WILL MEAN THAT YOUR REGISTRATION IS COMPLETED
