Min qal li l-Ġeografija suġġett demotivanti? Studenti tat-8 Sena qed jużaw VR waqt il-lezzjonijiet tagħhom tal-ġeografija biex jitgħallmu dwar it-terremoti u l-vulkani.
L-istudenti bdew il-lezzjoni billi b’mod virtwali raw il-qxur tettoniċi, li ċ-ċaqliq tagħhom iwassal biex jisbruffaw il-vulkani, jiffurmaw il-muntanji u jinħolqu t-terremoti.
L-istudenti kellhom l-opportunità biex b’mod virtwali jaraw vulkani varji jiżbruffaw, imorru fuq il-quċċata ta’ vulkan qed jiżbroffa u jaraw il-lava, imorru fuq il-muntanji, iżuru l-aktar partijiet imfannda tad-dinja tagħna, jaraw kif jisseħħu t-terremoti u wkoll il-ħsarat li jħallu warajhom, u ħafna aktar!
It-tbissima fuq fomm l-istudenti tagħna tfisser kollox!
U xi ngħidu dwar il-kompetizzjoni mill-isbaħ li għandna b’rabta ma’ mudelli tal-vulkani? Prosit lil kulħadd għall-kreattività li għandkom.
Who said Geography is boring? Year 8 students using VR for their geography lessons to learn about earthquakes and volcanos.
Students started the lesson by virtually seeing the plate tectonics, which their movements are responsible for the eruption of volcanoes, formation of fold mountains and earthquakes.
Students had the opportunity to virtually see various eruptions, go on top of an erupting volcano and see the lava, go on top of mountains, go to the deepest part of our planet, see how earthquakes are formed and the damaged caused afterwards, and much more!
The expression on our students faces surely says it all!!
And what about our nice volcano model competition? Well done to all for your creativity 😊
