The Spanish outing, titled “Un Día de Español”, was thoughtfully organized by the Spanish Education Officer to provide students with an engaging and immersive language experience. Throughout the day, students participated in a variety of interactive activities designed to enhance their Spanish vocabulary and cultural understanding. These included classic games such as bingo and an opposites word game, as well as a fun and educational tortilla de patatas recipe challenge. Students also tested their quick-thinking skills with the “How Much Can You Name in 40 Seconds” game and used Plickers technology to answer culture-based questions in real-time. A highlight of the day was the Virtual Reality tour of Spain, allowing students to explore iconic Spanish landmarks and cultural sites from the classroom. The outing successfully combined learning with enjoyment, fostering enthusiasm and deeper engagement with the Spanish language. Thanks to Ms. Micaela Cauchi for sharing!
