Trigonometry Activity: How high is the building?

Year 9 students used a clinometer to measure the angle of elevation from a fixed distance to the top of Block 3. After recording the angle, they applied trigonometric principles to calculate the building’s height. By combining the measured angle with the baseline distance, they successfully determined the structure’s height, reinforcing their understanding of geometry and real-world measurement techniques.
