The Swish Sessions, organized by Agenzija Zghazagh and led by Mr. Noel Aquilina, took place from the 7th to the 11th of November, 2023. The initiative aimed to introduce wheelchair basketball and frame football to Year 10 students while emphasizing inclusion.
The sessions were well-coordinated, ensuring optimal engagement through effective time management. Mr. Aquilina customized games to achieve both inclusivity and challenge, encouraging active participation. The students’ enthusiastic responses confirmed the success of their engagement throughout the sessions.
Through this experience, students broadened their understanding of diversity education within the curriculum, which has the potential to solidify a culture of acceptance, inclusivity, and appreciation for differences, thereby breaking down barriers.
