Soup Kitchen

On March 18th, our Year 10 KTI class spent the day at the Soup Kitchen. We started by preparing buns for the takeaway sacks given to guests after their meal. We also spent time sorting through new food donations, organizing them by date to ensure nothing went to waste. Afterward, we had the opportunity to serve lunch directly to the community. This experience really made us appreciate everything we have and showed us the inspiring dedication of the many other volunteers working there. Thanks to Ms Chantelle Borg Vella for sharing!

Fit-18 ta’ Marzu, il-klassi tagħna tal-KTI (Year 10) qattgħet il-ġurnata s-Soup Kitchen. Bdiejna billi ppreparajna panini biex jitpoġġew f’boroż li n-nies jieħdu magħhom wara l-ikel. Għamilna wkoll xi ħin nirranġaw donazzjonijiet ġodda tal-ikel, fejn organizzajniehom skont id-data biex niżguraw li xejn ma jinħela. Wara dan, kellna l-opportunità li nservu l-ikel direttament lin-nies tal-komunità. Din l-esperjenza tassew għallmitna napprezzaw dak kollu li għandna u wrietna d-dedikazzjoni ammirevoli tal-ħafna voluntiera oħra li jgħinu hemmhekk. Grazzi lis-Sa. Chantelle Borg Vella talli qasmet dan it-tagħrif magħna.
