Science

Integrated science is the subject that is followed during Years 7 and 8. It aims to develop in our students a curiosity about natural phenomena, leading them to question the world we live in. Topics range from atoms to how the body works to things as large as our own solar system. It introduces the students to some of the aspects of all three science subjects—biology, chemistry, and physics.

Experiments and report writing are also done, which give the student a more holistic experience of what to expect if they choose a career in one of the Sciences.

A fieldwork project is also carried out and is part of the student’s assessment in Year 8, while a project and model building comprise part of the assessment in Year 7.
