The school council meets regularly on a monthly basis, and sometimes, more often as the need arises. The council is composed of a balance of teachers and parents, the secretary, the Head of School, and the president. The main function of the school council is to discuss and organise various school activities throughout the scholastic year. These activities require a lot of thought and planning, as usually, a lot of people are involved. As a result, the planning stage is very important for these activities to succeed and leave the desired effect. In view of this, the council expresses its gratitude to all members involved, especially the parents, without whose help, co-operation, and dedication, there would be no activities. Among the activities organized up to now, the very successful Christmas Market held last December can be mentioned. The activity was open to the general public in the evening and all proceeds were donated to The Malta Community Chest Fund. In fact, the generous sum of €8,000 was presented to the MCCF. Another activity which was held during Lent consisted of a representation of various stages of the Passion of our Lord performed in the school gardens, which provided the ideal setting. This event was also open to the public and the proceeds, €3,500, were donated to the ALS Group, a feat that surely would not have been possible had it not been for the work done by all concerned. The magazine goes a long way to highlight the various achievements of our students. All this is only possible owing to the utmost dedication of the staff. They are always ready and willing to see that our students achieve their dreams.
