On 19th November 2024 and 4th February 2025, our Year 7 students had the opportunity to visit a luxurious hotel in Malta, Radisson Golden Sands, offering them an exciting and educational experience. The hotel itself stands out for its elegant design and excellent facilities, providing the students with a chance to explore both the public and private areas. They started their visit with a delightful buffet breakfast, where they could sample a wide variety of fresh foods. After enjoying their meal, the students had the chance to tour different parts of the hotel, including the grand reception area, the exclusive rooms, and the relaxing pool area, each showcasing the luxury and attention to detail of the hotel.
This visit was an invaluable learning experience, offering students a unique insight into the hospitality industry and how hotels operate. The collaboration with the Home Economics Department made this visit even more special, as it gave the students the chance to see how culinary skills, nutrition, and hospitality services are put into practice in a professional setting. It was definitely an opportunity to broaden their horizons and learn more about the world of hospitality in a hands-on and engaging way.
