Our school, St Thomas More College, Carlo Diacono, Middle and Secondary School, Żejtun, hosted the press conference this morning for a fantastic nationwide initiative!
Starting this scholastic year, every secondary student in Malta and Gozo will now have free access to menstrual products. These new smart vending machines have been installed and are ready to use in our school! These machines provide free sanitary pads and tampons, supporting the health and well-being of our female students.
This initiative also includes educational work to encourage open and respectful conversations around menstruation. We are proud to be part of this positive step!
