Students have been studying mythical creatures for the past few weeks, and today they had independent study & research. Students were first asked to create a story & character for a mythical creature in groups. Afterwards, students were given a different letter each (shown on their handouts), & they had to research a creature starting with that letter and write down information about it. Students worked well in a team, and they managed to finish both tasks in class (double lesson). Students learned the power of teamwork and how we can be of aid even if we are not working on the same task (different letters). They shared the tablets & helped each other look up information.
