L-istudenti tal-klassi 9 Ruby qed jipparteċipaw b’mod attiv fil- Let’s Talk Farming Programme, fejn qegħdin jitgħallmu b’mod prattiku kif ikabbru l-prodott tagħhom stess billi jużaw żewġ metodi: jieħdu ħsieb saplings li aktar tard jitħawlu fil-ħamrija u jesperimentaw bil-hydroponic farming. Fil-klassi huma għandhom apparat żgħir idroponiku biex jifhmu aħjar kif taħdem din is-sistema. Waqt li huma qegħdin ikabbru iżjed saplings b’entużjażmu kbir, huma qegħdin iżommu djarju botaniku bħala gwida. Ringrazzjament speċjali jmur għas-Sa Lisa Galea, l-għalliema tad-Design & Technology tagħhom, għall-entużjażmu u l-gwida tagħha fit-tmexxija ta’ dan il-proġett. Nirringrazzjaw ukoll lill-istudenti, kif ukoll lill-edukaturi li qegħdin jgħinuhom: is-Sa Audrienne Magro u s-Sa Julia Spiteri. Prosit lil kulħadd!
Our Year 9 Ruby students are actively participating in the ‘Let’s Talk Farming Programme’ , demonstrating great dedication in learning how to grow their own produce using two methods: cultivating saplings that will later be planted in soil and experimenting with hydroponic farming. In class, they have a small hydroponic device to better understand how this system works. Along with using a botanical book for guidance, they are also growing saplings with enthusiasm. A special thank you goes to Ms Lisa Galea, their Design & Technology teacher, for her enthusiasm and guidance in leading this project. We also extend our gratitude to the students, as well as to the supporting educators, Ms Audrienne Magro and Ms Julia Spiteri. Well done to everyone involved!
