On 27th March, the Year 10 Art Option students visited Junior College for the Ħolqa International Youth Arts Festival. This annual event is organized by the Department of Creative Arts and Design at Ġan Frangisk Abela Junior College.
Ħolqa is a festival for students aged 16 to 19, providing a creative space to showcase their art, improve their skills, and collaborate with others. It also gives them a glimpse into the art industry.
During the festival, our students had the chance to learn from other students. They watched one performance by students from Bulgaria. Afterward, they attended a workshop on photomontage, where they learned about the technique and created their own artwork.
