The cultural activity we organised to celebrate the Feast of La Chandeleur was a success! Students of French, alongside their teachers, enthusiastically gathered in the school food lab to prepare and cook delicious crepes, immersing themselves in French traditions and language in a fun, hands-on way. The atmosphere was filled with excitement as the students practised their French vocabulary, learnt new cooking techniques, and collaborated in a team.
To enhance the experience, we created an atmosphere reminiscent of a Parisian coffee shop, complete with decorations and French music playing in the background. The crepes, served with a hot chocolate, were a hit, and the event fostered a sense of unity and cultural appreciation. It was a wonderful opportunity for students to engage with French culture beyond the classroom, and the smiles and laughter made it a memorable experience for everyone involved.
