L-istudenti tal-10 Sena tal-Kimika, nhar il-Ġimgħa għamlu qabża fit-tagħlim tagħhom meta daħlu fi sfida stil ta’ escape-room, fejn solvew puzzles fiżiċi u mentali biex jilħqu l-għan finali. Din l-esperjenza prattika fl-Esplora Interactive Science Centre għenet biex jiżviluppaw l-ħsieb kritiku, l-esperimentazzjoni u l-ħiliet kif jistgħu jsolvu problemi f’kuntest STEM.
Permezz ta’ ħidma f’tim, l-istudenti esploraw kunċetti ewlenin relatati mal-farmaċewtika u b’hekk it-tagħlim sar aktar interessanti u sinifikanti. Waqt din iż-żjara, l-istudenti kellhom ukoll ħin jaraw wirjiet interattivi, b’aktar minn 200 stazzjon prattiku li jkopru suġġetti bħall-fiżika, il-kimika, il-bijoloġija, l-elettriku u l-ġisem tal-bniedem. Minn esplorazzjoni ta’ digital periodic table sa disinn ta’ wirjiet tan-nar diġitali, l-istudenti tassew esperjenzaw ix-xjenza fil-prattika.

Our Year 10 Chemistry students took learning to the next level through an exciting escape-room style challenge, solving both physical and mental puzzles to reach a final goal. This hands-on experience held at Esplora Centre helped develop critical thinking, experimentation, and problem-solving skills within a STEM context.
Students explored key concepts related to pharmaceuticals through teamwork, making learning both engaging and meaningful. The visit also included time at interactive exhibits, with over 200 hands-on stations covering physics, chemistry, biology, electricity, and the human body. From exploring a digital periodic table to designing their own fireworks displays, students truly experienced science in action.
