Elderly residents at school

Il-ġimgħa l-oħra kellna l-pjaċir nilqgħu lill-anzjani mid-dar taż-Żejtun fl-iskola tagħna. Ħejjejna afternoon tea fejn l-istudenti u l-mistednin setgħu jinteraġixxu f’ambjent informali, waqt li gawdew ikel tajjeb u xarbiet sħan.

Prosit kbira lill-istudenti tad-9 sena tal-KTI talli ppreparaw l-ikel li ġie servut waqt l-attività! Ringrazzjament speċjali lis-Sa Daniela Ellul u l-istudenti tagħha tal-Ospitalità, kif ukoll lis-Sa Mariella Deguara, għall-għajnuna bil-kejkijiet u s-sausage rolls.

Kien mument mill-isbaħ fejn rajna ġenerazzjonijiet differenti jingħaqdu flimkien, jaqsmu stejjer, tbissim u daħk: tfakkira sabiħa tal-importanza tas-sens ta’ komunità.

Last week we had the pleasure of welcoming the elderly residents from Żejtun Home to our school. We hosted a lovely afternoon tea where students and guests could interact in a relaxed, informal setting while enjoying delicious food and warm drinks.

A big well done to our Year 9 KTI students for preparing the food served during the event! Special thanks to Ms Daniela Ellul and her hospitality students, as well as Ms Mariella Deguara, for their help with the homemade cakes and sausage rolls.

It was heartwarming to see generations come together, sharing stories, smiles, and laughter. It was a beautiful reminder of the importance of community.💞
