The Eco-School committee together with all the students and educators at school, worked hard towards the SDG 2 – Zero-Hunger. Different activities were organised to raise funds and collect food items and could happily help RMJ Horse Sanctuary, the CSAF cat Sanctuary, the Island Sanctuary a dog Sanctuary and the MSPCA another cat and dog Sanctuary.
Students from the 5-year groups participated in two casual days to collect food and hygienic products which were then disseminated to the Soup Kitchen, Peace lab and Caritas.
Several teachers of different subjects conducted lessons to create more awareness on hunger issues in Malta and increase awareness of how they can help to reduce and prevent hunger. A visit to the Millenium Chapel and Foodbank were organized as well.
A big thank you and well done to all students and educators on board. This is the third consecutive time that our school has renewed the Green Flag.
