Year 8 Coral/Diamond Science students were learning about Earth and Space. Each student had to do some research on a different topic such as stars, inner planets, asteroids, Mars explorations, the pros and cons of space exploration and eclipses. Then each student gave a presentation on the topic that they had researched.
During this activity, students had the opportunity to develop their public speaking skills, build confidence and use their digital skills. Students were also able to understand the material at a deeper level since they had to explain the topic to their classmates. They also learned many interesting facts about our universe.
