Attention Year 11 students:
In line with the national strategy, all SSC&P (School Leaving) certificates are now being issued securely making use of the blockchain technology. This enables students to keep their academic credentials in a private digital wallet on their mobile device through Blockcerts. Blockcerts are self-verifying – meaning they cannot be forged or tampered with, and they can be verified immediately anywhere in the world.
In order to collect your personal email address (NOT ilearn address) we are going to use the online form that can be accessed from HERE. Therefore, you are kindly instructed to fill in the necessary data and submit by not later than 9th December 2022.
Instructions you need to follow:
- Download and fill in the consent form.
- Parent/Guardian has to sign the consent form.
- Scan the signed consent form i.e. save a soft copy on your computer.
- Access this website: https://education.gov.mt/en/Pages/BLOCKCERTS.aspx
- Choose our school from the drop-down menu.
- Fill in your name, surname, ID number and personal email address (double check that you typed this email address correctly).
- Upload the signed consent form (please refer to points 1 – 3 above).
- Press the submit button found on the bottom right hand side of the website.
