As part of the Waste Reduction Week and as prescribed in the VET Fashion and Textiles syllabus, Year 11 students gave a new life to unwanted textile items. The following are the new items the students designed and constructed.
- Katrina Cassar (11GNT) – Harry Potter themed cushion made from unwanted fabric scraps.
- Maria Barbara (11JDE) – Tote bag made from unwanted fabric.
- Lenise Caruana (11GNT): Mini carpet made from used T-shirts.
- Catrina Gatt (11DMD): Handbag made from old denim trousers.
- Michaela Lautier (11GNT): Pin cushion made from leftover fabric from another sewing project.
- Ebony Okagbue Siracusa (11OPL): Mini carpet made from used T-shirts.
