Dear Year 11 Students and Parents/Guardians,
Please find attached the official circulars (in English and Maltese) issued by the Directorate for People Management regarding the Students’ Summer Work Exposure Scheme 2026.
This scheme offers paid summer work exposure opportunities to students who will have completed their compulsory secondary education (Year 11/Form V) during the 2025–2026 scholastic year. The initiative aims to provide students with valuable experience in Government Departments and Public Sector Organisations during the summer recess.
We strongly encourage students and parents/guardians to read the attached circulars carefully, as they include important information regarding:
- Eligibility criteria
- Duration and phases of the work exposure period
- Rate of pay and conditions of employment
- Application procedures and deadlines
Please note that applications and placements are managed centrally by the Students’ Maintenance Grants Unit in line with the guidelines outlined in the circulars.
