Fl-1 ta’ Diċembru, id-Dipartiment tal-Franċiż, flimkien mal-istudenti mill-aqwa tal-lingwa Franċiża organizzaw French Pastry Day fil-Home Economics Lab. Flimkien ħejjew tliet deżerti tradizzjonali tal-Milied Franċiżi: clafoutis (torta tal-berry bil-custard), kejk Franċiż klassiku tal-isponge bil-karamella u lanġas moqli fil-ġulepp tal-Beaujolais. Dawn il-prodotti kollha ser ikunu esebiti u mibjugħa wkoll waqt l-attività tagħna Qalb il-Milied 2025 b’risq Dar Tal-Providenza Siggiewi. On December 1st, the French Department, together with our dedicated French-language students, organised a French Pastry Day in the Home Economics Lab. We prepared three traditional French Christmas desserts: a berry custard tart known as clafoutis, a classic French sponge cake with a caramel twist, and poached pears in Beaujolais syrup. All pas-tries will be displayed and sold during the Qalb il-Milied event in aid of Dar tal-Providenza. A special thanks goes to all the educators who made this activity possible.
