Last Thursday, Year 8 Sapphire students read the story of the Nutcracker and then discussed the characters, where the character of the Nutcracker originated from, & the dream that Clara had in the short novel. Students then were asked to write a short story about where the Nutcracker would take them if he came for them in a dream on Christmas eve. The students wrote their story, drew the designs seen on the chart, and then it was all put together with the help of their teacher.
